Installation

• How long between the day I order my kitchen and the day it is delivered?

  On average, once the design is approved and deposit received, it will take about 8-12 weeks for you to receive your kitchen. Wood doors may add extra delivery time depending on manufacturer availability. We will do our best to meet this timeframe however there may be circumstances that cause an unforeseen delay. Cabinet Expressions does not compensate for delayed timelines or homeowner meetings. Currently we are running approximately 12 weeks for delivery.

• How Long will the Installers be installing in my home?

  An average kitchen will take two days to install. The initial installation will be the first day, with a follow up appointment booked at a later date for any finishing touches. This timeline can be longer, depending on the scope of work.

• Do I need to be home for the installation?

  If you are not able to be home, please leave the door unlocked, or directions for the installers to enter your home.

• Will the installers clean up before they leave?

  The installers will do their best to leave your new kitchen neat and tidy, but you will still need to do a final wipe down.

• Who will be installing my kitchen?

  Cabinet Expressions professionally trained installers.

Countertops

• Can I make changes after the contract is signed?

  Any changes after your contract is signed will result in a change order fee.

• When do the granite/quartz countertops arrive?

  Typically our supplier will template 2-3 days after kitchen installation, and the countertops will be delivered 10 days after that.

• Is the granite/quartz sealed?

  Granite is sealed before it leaves the factory. Quartz does not require sealing.

• Will there be seams in granite and quartz?

  It depends on size. In an oversized area, larger than 9×5, there could be seams. Some colours come in jumbo slab

• Is granite/quartz included in my kitchen price?

  That option will be in your budget, estimated separately.

Miscellaneous

• Is there a minimum project fee?

  At Cabinet Expressions, we are committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and personalized service. To ensure the highest quality for every project, we maintain a minimum project fee of $2,500. This allows us to dedicate the necessary time, resources, and expertise to create custom cabinetry that meets your unique needs.

• Can I do a custom painted colour?

  Custom Benjamin Moore colours can be selected. The shade may be within 5% of the original colour, due to industrial mixing.

• Can I order appliance panels to match my cabinetry?

  If you have panel-ready appliances, Cabinet Expressions can produce and install the panels to match your cabinetry for an extra charge.

• Do I need to remove my existing cabinets myself?

  Yes, you or your contractor will need to remove existing cabinets.

• Will there be seams in granite and quartz?

Payment

• Is a deposit required?

  Yes, a 50% deposit is required at the time your contract is signed.

• When do I pay my balance?

  Your full balance is required one business day prior to delivery. Cabinets will not be unloaded prior to payment.

• What type of payments do you accept?

  We accept cheque, bank drafts, e-transfers and cash and credit cards.

• What is included in my invoice amount?

  Typically design, materials, production & installation, unless otherwise specified.
